Thanks for the Mr A. WNIB radio clip!
My dad used to get up early on Saturday mornings to record his blues show on cassette tapes (i still have the tapes today) during the early 80's. He would let me stay up for a while with him while he recorded the shows and because of that i'm a 37 year old blues lover! Thanks Fuzzy for posting this wonderful clip. Brings back so many warm great Chicago memories!

thanks for the memories. i grew up on wfld channel 32. i was looking for Son of Svengoolie's parody of 867-5309 in which he did 588 you know the rest.... which is of course the Empire phone number.

believe it or not i lived in florida for 2 years and they have empire down there now! i used to argue with some people that it originated in chicago!!!! LOL!

Wow some of these fuzzy memories are even beyond me!

Question: Was there ever a Walter Mondale or Reagan commercial that showed people digging nuclear shelters in their backyard? Talk about a fuzzy memory! I don't even know if it's real.
