I film exclusively in the HD format (1920x1080p), for a much stronger impression. There is no limit to the subject matter that I would consider, but usually it happens to be something related to ocean, water, beaches, surf, islands, ships, woods, hills, birds, cities, people, music, etc. Basically, almost anything interesting. I am behind the lens, and not in front of it, however!
