You echoed the same things in this video that those of us on Transistahs-Transbrothas has said for several years now.

We too are sick and tired of the prevailing image of African-American transpeople being a negative one.




I grew up in the 70's and I can tell you that it didn't start out that way. I believe that we lost our way when the first wave of the AIDS virus took out many of the people who would have served as our mentors an role models.

I would love to talk to you about your thoughts on building the movement you've so eloquently spoken about.
