Some may call it just another rap group; others may say it is a group that has sound that is different from any other Oklahoma artist. The conventional quartet known as 3rd Flow, calls it feel good music with a major sound. 3rd Flow is a local hip-hop group that has a mixture of hip-hop and soul music that we hope will appeal to anyone. The group has been together since 2003, gaining a minor fan base which consists mostly of close friends and family and has given 3rd Flow the initiative to start performing. We got the name for the group because we all lived and met each other on the third floor of Logan Hall at Northeastern State University. From the first day we've met till the day we departed college, we have never lived on another floor. We changed it to 3rd Flow since its rap. The group consists of four members: Dj Phil, Mr. Wortham, Mosquito, and J Ford. Not only do they bring a different sound to the rap game but individually they all bring something different to the group which makes them so special and unique. Dj Phil (Tulsa native) is the mastermind who produces the music. Mr. Wortham (Tulsa native) brings not only his rapping ability but his great singing voice to bring harmony. Mosquito (Mounds native) not only has a different style of rap but a diverse tone, which catches listener's attention. And last but not least, J Ford (Wagoner native) brings plenty of charisma and energy to the music. With these four components, 3rd Flow hits all cylinders reeling in different types of listeners and a broader audience. Forever now, these four counterparts have anxiously awaited an opportunity for their big break, their chance to bask in entertainment excellence.
Why this name?
We pretty much all met on the 3rd Floor at school, so at first we were the DIRTY 3RD CLICK(but that was taken by some other dudes) then it was Da 3rd "D3"(the name that was on the first album) and at last a dj at a club thought we should call ourselves 3rd Floor, so we just went with DA 3RD FLOW...

Well play anywhere so just give us a holla. How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry? good promotion nationally if you work hard at it Would you sign a record contract with a major label? a parent company would be nice but Feel Good Musiq gotta stay good ya know.
